Menu icon Foundation
ipad displaying images sized improperly

Hello,

I am struggling with how iPad is displaying my new foundation based website.

Some pages are displaying as desired, like:
http://www.flexibel.at/redken.html
http://www.flexibel.at/kontakt.html

Others are not, page is only displayed partially and pictures are too big.
http://www.flexibel.at/studio.html
http://www.flexibel.at/specials.html

Flexibel.at ipad

As always: "works on my PC" but not on my iPad - there some pages dont get displayed as a whole, and one has to rescale/reload the page to get around this.

Help please! What am I doing wrong with foundation here?

Kind regards
Michael

Hey,

I am afraid you are setting widths where you do not need to and it is a site wide issue, you have widths on

#page
#header
#mainmenu etc

and thus it will always be a set with if you do this, you need to use foundation and be simpler with the code and it will be responsive in no time. I have generated a (very very rough) prototype for you to give you a good start and to see how to use the code of the code:

http://cdpn.io/oJLIE

This will stack the content when on mobile, refer to the foundation docs also - just resize the browser

Hope this helps

Why not install and use an image processing tool (http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/vb-net-imaging/imaging-processing/) on your ipad to deal with the image size, by referring to the image resizing function. You can check out the best image viewing size, and then load the target images into the image editing application to resize the image to fufill your needs. Or you can resize the image (check the detailed online guides: http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/vb-net-imaging/resize-image/ ) in programmatical way on your tablet ipad device.
