Menu icon Foundation
Incompatible units: 'em' and 'rem'

I have searched forums and docs for this issue and although I found some, none of them fixed my issue.

I upgraded from 4 to 5 (it has been a pain)

I changed the emCalc to rem-calc in my _settings.scss
I added correct import path to config.rb
I am importing the _functions.scss in my _settings.scss

but still get this issue.

Hi,

Can you show us the top of your app.scss file? What order are 'settings' and 'foundation' (or the individual components) being imported in?

Are you tied to Compass or can you use Grunt?

Cheers,
Ben

@import "settings";
@import "foundation";

I am using Compass with Grunt.

The annoying thing is that I upgraded a project a few months ago and got it working fairly quickly. I am referencing that project, but still can't get rid of the rem/em error.

I would do a global search for ems, since there might be some in your settings file somewhere.

Thanks Rafi. That was it. A few ems sprinkled on top of my settings :)

Changing to rem solved it.
