Mobile Menu not working

Hello,

I have a problem with mobile menu at a premade template downloaded from here.
I use for example the Marketing template html and none of the js effects actually work.

I first noticed the mobile menu since I firstly tested through my phone and then show that all others js effects do not work. (ex. slider)

The thing is I use the template as is I did not make any changes besides changing the path to the files.
And its not working when it should.

Regards,
George

Hey George!

Double check the file paths to Foundation's JS components!

If the problem still persists please could you post some code or even better a link to the site in development?

Hello,

Yes as fas as I can tell the code is fine.

Here is a live demo with Marketing template with no changes besides the path to css and js files.

Hi George,

It's definitely the path to jquery... (look at screenshot).
You can easily debug using firebug (for firefox) or chrome developer tools

Kind regards
Guy

Hello,

I can't see any screenshot.

Anyway I re-entered the code and manually added in the header tags scirpt jquery input and now the effects are indeed working.

But the orbit slider does not. I cannot slide through images.

Hey George!

I compared the markup from your download to the live template by Foundation and they look the same.

Could you try a re-download and report back on what happens.

George Chatzidelios about 5 years ago

Ok so I re-downloaded and copied the Marketing template within the body tags and I did not change anything else.

So this way without changing anything I don't see jquery loaded.

Anyway see the link again to understand what I mean.

Okay, now load jQuery and remove the script fetching zepto.js

Ok now the effects are in place but the orbit slider is not working.

//EDIT

by having the foundation.min.js all other functions are include? Meaning orbit.js functions and such or do I have to call them separately?

George Chatzidelios about 5 years ago

I have no clue what to do.

Hey George, foundation.min.js includes all plugins, so you shouldn't need to call anything seperately.

Try replacing the image slider with this content slider, copied straight from the Foundation docs, and see if that loads.

<ul class="example-orbit-content" data-orbit>
  <li data-orbit-slide="headline-1">
    <div>
      <h2>Headline 1</h2>
      <h3>Subheadline</h3>
    </div>
  </li>
  <li data-orbit-slide="headline-2">
    <div>
      <h2>Headline 2</h2>
      <h3>Subheadline</h3>
    </div>
  </li>
  <li data-orbit-slide="headline-3">
    <div>
      <h2>Headline 3</h2>
      <h3>Subheadline</h3>
    </div>
  </li>
</ul>

That worked but still I am curious why the pre-made version wouldn't work.

Thank you all for your replies.

Quite strange! Not sure what the problem was but hopefully that should get you going now.

Dang, missed this thread. Annoying that notifications has been disabled while the guys at ZURB fix the forum.

Glad it's solved!
