Equalizer not responsive medium or less

Big thank you to Rafi Benkual for pointing me to equalizer for a problem I was having with headers and columns. I've fleshed out my page and it works great on large - but it won't work on iPad or iPhone. When I just size my computer screen up/down or use Chrome Developer tools to look at the iphone or iPad, it looks great. But once I publish, the content will not wrap as expected. I made it very vanilla as the folks who have to post updated content do not do any coding. Is there something I should be doing in regard to the media query? I don't understand why it is working within the browsers when I size up/down but not on a smaller device.

And this is a really dumb question - but if I need to modify something in the media queries, should I do that at the foundation.css level - or should I do that in my app.css? I don't want to hose up my whole site because not every page is using equalizer and the rest of the site is behaving just right on iphone 6 with the "out of the box" foundation.css media query settings.

Any guidance would be appreciated. I don't expect anyone to code anything at all - but if you can just point me to where I should be reading even it would be helpful. I use Foundation 5 :-( and cannot move to 6 due to constraints on changes allowed on our site.

I hate that spammers are adding comments. Very frustrating.

I removed Equalizer as I realized that I was over-engineering my content. Closing this post.
