Having an issue with Gulp Sass compiling Foundation scss

I user bower to manage foundation, I have multiple instances of the same setup running locally, and only one is giving me an error when I try to run gulp.

$ gulp sass
[10:06:27] Starting 'sass'...
Segmentation fault: 11

**If I remove the includes to foundation in my scss file, it will compile.

Things I've tried...

reverting my sass to 3.2

deleteing node_modules, and re-installing,

deleting bower_components and reinstalling

as well as all of the proposed fixes listed here https://github.com/zurb/foundation-sites/issues/5691, but none of these fixed my issue. Has anyone ran into this error, I've been scratching my head for hours. Any help would be appreciated.

For reference this is what I'm running.

$ npm -v
5.3.0
$ bower -v
1.8.0
$ node -v
v8.0.0
$ sass -v
Sass 3.5.1 (Bleeding Edge)

Found my issue. It was some rogue scss that got inserted into one of my files, not a foundation/gulp issue.
