How do I use webfonts with Foundation Emails?

Hi I'd like to use webfonts with Foundation Emails.

I've tried using link reference in the body of my email

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Raleway" rel="stylesheet">

However, after importing the build into Campaign Monitor, everything works except for the webfonts. (I sent a test email to my Gmail on mobile)

Is it possible to use webfonts with Foundation Emails? What's the correct way to do this?

Ahh, so all those beautiful emails I was creating in Campaign Monitor weren't so beautiful after all!

Thanks, that's good to know.

Unfortunately Gmail will not render webfonts. Only a few clients do. You can see more here:

Gmail does not support webfonts.

I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous, seeing how Google popularized web fonts in the first place by making them freely available, but as of today, Gmail does not support webfonts.

In addition, Outlook has limited support for webfonts. It's hit and miss. The default font for Outlook is Times New Roman. Most other clients use Arial.

@font-face is not supported by Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo! email clients.

Good luck.
