Menu icon Foundation
NPM, inky-cli, and updating files

I'm new to foundations as a whole and I've only ever used foundations-emails through the templates; never through the inky cli

I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong with NPM and the inky cli- I wasn't ever able to save to the file using np++ because it was open in the command line with browser sync. File would be unavailable to save to.

Anyone know what I did wrong?

You'll need to supply a bit more information than what you've posted above.

At a minimum you need to install the following or make sure you've installed the following first:

Install git as well as node.js.

Node.js is here:
https://nodejs.org/en/

Git is here:
https://git-scm.com/

After you've downloaded and installed both of those go to the following link and read the directions for the installation.
http://foundation.zurb.com/emails/docs/sass-guide.html

Open the command line and run the commands as described in the sass guide.

Apologies, I ran commands from the cli that I shouldn't have and it screwed up my installation. I went through it again on a clean install and it works great!

Ryan, no problem. Also if you find information helpful, don't forget to check the helpful button next to the comment. ;)
