Orbit Data time delay not working v6

Hi,

Im having problems using the data options attribute with Orbit. I have set the data-timer-delay: to 9999 but there seems to be absolutely no change at all with the speed Orbit changes.

Heres the HTML:

  <div class="orbit" role="region" id="myorbit" aria-label="Caraousel of business" data-orbit data-options="animInFromLeft:fade-in;data-anim-out-from-right:fade-out;data-timer-delay:9999;>

Has anyone else had the same issue with Orbit in recent versions of Foundation?

Thanks

I think you are doing it wrong, either use it as attribute or remove the data- when used inside data-options

data-options="animInFromLeft:fade-in;timer-delay:9999;"

or

data-timer-delay="9999"

I have just tried both of them and still no luck,

it seems to be ignoring timer-delay for some strange reason.

Hi Ste

I got round this by adding the code below to my app.js

Foundation.Orbit.defaults.animInFromLeft="fade-in",
Foundation.Orbit.defaults.animInFromRight="fade-in",
Foundation.Orbit.defaults.animOutToLeft="fade-out",
Foundation.Orbit.defaults.animOutToRight="fade-out",
Foundation.Orbit.defaults.timerDelay=12000,$("#myorbit")

 Hope this helps

Thanks a lot Will,

Im not sure what the issue is but that doesn't seem to have done anything. I have some really odd behaviour with this for some reason. Its really annoying.

Hi Steve

What version are you using, v6.2.1?

When you say odd behaviour, what do you mean?

Can you post on Codepen?

Hi Steve

There is a working example here, https://codepen.io/anon/pen/MyMKvG

Just thinking have you got motion UI installed?

As in the Orbit slides load all stacked on top of each other, the data options dont seem to do anything and also when the slides have finished orbit just freezes rather than going back to the first slide.

I have it on my test site here if you wish to take a little look:

Hi Ste

Looks like you are using foundation version 6.0, have you thought about changing to version 6.2.1, this may fix your issues.

Other than that, I'm sorry but can't offer any more.
