Custom Button transitions vs. base button transitions

I have been working on doing a bit of work adding physics to some of my animations, and have ran into one issue I would like to try to resolve without redirecting _buttons.scss to my own section... similar to this post

I am wanting to animate the button hover and the default transition overrides my custom definition of this transition. I see that this is a logged issue, and I am not the only to have come across this... https://github.com/zurb/foundation-sites/issues/8768

Is it possible that this could be addressed, or, if you have another way around this, where I don't have to fork component code with Foundation?

Hi, for now you can add !important to CSS rule or you can copy the same animation code to :hover css.
