F6.2 - CLI using previous _settings.scss ?

Just create a new website using foundation-cli and it seems the scss/_settings.scss is from 6.1.2 ? can't find new settings as mentioned in https://github.com/zurb/foundation-sites/releases/tag/v6.2.0.

I ended up replace ithe file from https://github.com/zurb/foundation-sites/blob/6.2-stable/scss/settings/_settings.scss

Hi Danni,

as far as I know, you have to update the _settings.scss file manually (because you do many individual adjustments in there, that shouldn't be overwritten each time you update Foundation).

In the Sass chapter you can view the changes:
https://github.com/zurb/foundation-sites/wiki/Upgrading-to-Foundation-6.2

However, there seem to be more changes, listed here:
https://github.com/zurb/foundation-sites/releases/tag/v6.2.0

This only affects updates. When you install a new Foundation project, you should get the 6.2 settings file right away.

Best, Nils

"When you install a new Foundation project, you should get the 6.2 settings file right away."

This is what im talking about. Its a new project created by foundation cli but the _settings.scss is same as 6.1.2, no $foundation-pallete etc.

@Nils Wiere Great answer!

@Danni You are right, there was an issue where the _settings file didn't update. It's fixed now so a NEW project will get the latest _settings file.

You are good with the one you copied over from the repo.
