Deep Linking Tabs in F6

Is it possible to deep linking Tabs in Foundation 6? If so, is it coded the same as F5 or are there changes?

I really needed this feature as well!

Jayson,

Not sure if this will help you but I found this on the Foundation Github site. I can't quite understand what they are saying here but perhaps you will.

       https://github.com/zurb/foundation-sites-6/issues/304

I'm just trying to have a setting so I can do the following:

        http://www.mywebsite.com/thepage.html#mytab1

But I think maybe this article is suggesting another way to implement it? If you can understand what they are suggesting and how to get it working, please let me know.

Hi Lisa,

I needed not only the deep linking functionality but also the callback (if tab 4, do this).

I opted for combining Foundation 5 above 6 very carefully, only on the pages I needed tabs.

I included modernizer, then foundation.js 5 (uncompressed) then foundation.tabs.js.

It took some tweaking because at first reveal modals and tooltips broke, but it’s working!

Zurb says they added the deep linking task to the list of to-dos, I just couldn’t wait until it was released.

Good luck!
