Error during compilation

I am a beginner here. when i use this in command line " sudo foundation watch " i am getting below error

Error in plugin 'sass'
Message:
src/assets/scss/_settings.scss
Error: File to import not found or unreadable: util/util

on line 42 of src/assets/scss/_settings.scss
>> @import 'util/util';

please help me with a solution. sass version installed on my system is

sass -v
Sass 4.0.0.alpha.1 (Bleeding Edge)

I bet it has to do with the Sass version. There are likely breaking changes with Sass 4+ where it can't read the @import statement. I'd recommend using 3.4 since it is still a recent version and supported.

You can run these commands

gem uninstall sass
gem install sass -v 3.4.18

Try running bower install and see if that resolves it. You might be missing some Foundation framework files.

Oh, good eye @Geoff Kimball ! bower does not run with sudo commands so you'd need to run it separately without sudo.

Also, F6 is libsass so it should not be running Ruby Sass and the version wouldn't be the issue.

I have switched to windows 10, Still i am facing same issue - but this time prepros is throwing up the same error
