Menu icon Foundation
F6 - Change "back" text of topbar/drilldown

For me the documentation is not very clear, there isn't even an example. Back in Foundation 5 there were 2 options to change the back-text, though "data-options" and in the Foundation init JS, how to archieve this using Foundation 6 for in example in the pen created by @Rafi ? http://codepen.io/rafibomb/pen/JGNoZB

Just curious, what would you change it to? A different language?

The docs settings section shows the CSS class needed and the data-attribute:
http://foundation.zurb.com/sites/docs/drilldown-menu.html#js-options

Here's how I did it:

I would agree that the docs here could use some work. You've been on the forum for a while, maybe you could share your know how on this after you get it going. There is a button on the docs to edit the page and submit a pull request. What do you think?

Yes, I am creating a website in 2 different languages. First the site was completely done in Foundation 3. So I updated it to Foundation 4, then Foundation 5 was released so updated it again, and now Foundation 6 is there so have to update it again. Much work doing it by hand.

Anyway, thanks for the example, this is working ofcourse :)

I love to share my customized Foundation components, also I am willing to help others here on there forum or fixing bugs by myself at Github, that is what you mean by "pull request" right? But I don't know how Github works, just created a account there for reporting bugs.

btw: Do you have any idea when Foundation release a update to 6.2? The last past days nothing much happend on Github for bug fixes.

Well, you said you "have" to update. I'm wondering what makes you think that you have to ;) We have many sites running Foundation 5, 4, 3 and even 2!

Yes, updating the docs would be a Pull Request. It's really easy if you just hit the edit this page button on the docs!

You can always see the milestones and dates here: https://github.com/zurb/foundation-sites/milestones

I mean not really "have to", but a update such as F6 has always better improvements such as code is much smaller and less !importants. Thats why I update each time :)

Anyway thanks again Rafi!

I have a related issue. What my client wants is for the top of the drilldown menu to show what level you're on. Thus:

one

two->

   Aye

   Bee

   See

three

If you click on level two, the menu should now read:

two

Aye

Bee

See

Would this be possible? I'm sure I can probably swap out with JS, but an organic solution would be ideal.
