Disable certain layouts

Hi

Please forgive me if this has been asked before, but I could not find the exact answer.

I have looked at this post http://foundation.zurb.com/forum/posts/15322-disable-responsive-layout-for-ipads and I have a similar problem.

I would like to have only 2 versions
iPad Horizontal and larger. So anything from 1024px and up.
iPad vertical and lower. So anything from 1023px and lower.

So for example I will have 2 columns in iPad horizontal that are next to each other and when I rotate to iPad vertical I will have them 1 under the other. If I set my columns as medium-6 it works for iPad horizontal, but does not stretch full screen for iPad vertical.

Any help will be great.
Thanks Alec

    <div class="medium-12 columns">
		<div class="medium-6 columns">
        </div>
		<div class="medium-6 columns">
        </div>
    </div>
</div>

Sounds like its an issue with the breakpoints. The landscape is getting the large grid and the vertical, the medium.
