Foundation 5 Responive Tables - Disappearing Rows?

I see to be having a problem with the responsive table solution outlined at:

http://zurb.com/playground/projects/responsive-tables/index.html
http://zurb.com/playground/responsive-tables

It seems like some table cols just disappear, when shown in the mobile view. For example: the first column will just hold a row of checkboxes to select the data represented in the column. Without the column, much of the functionality of the screen is broken.

Is there a reason why columns would be hidden, rather than simply having the overflow stylings put onto them? This problem only happens when the table is viewed in mobile on refresh. If you view the screen in a wider area, then make the window smaller, the col. doesn't get hidden (although it becomes a larger width than what's specified)

Hi Justin,

I'm having trouble understanding the issue you're describing. I'm not seeing any loss of columns on my end. Could you upload screenshots, or let us know what steps you took to recreate this?

We do have some new treatment for tables for Foundation 6 here: http://foundation.zurb.com/sites/docs/table.html

Maybe the scroll table might help?

Cheers!
Tim

Here's an example of the behavior I'm seeing,

Nothing fancy (I think) going on in the table, just:

(if there's a better code sharing service that supports foundation, just lemme know, and I'll post an entire working example there)

Foundation 6 looks great, and I'm anxious to give it a whirl,

But, I've been bitten my share of times jumping on the very latest bleeding edge, so I'll be holding back for a few sub point releases until things settle down, the missing docs about going from 5->6 get released, all the tooling is in place (I've also been working with FoundationPress) - so on and so forth.

This particular project also needs to get out of the door yesterday, and has over 300 views, so migration from 5->6 would take quite a few cups of coffee itself ;) (not your problem, obv.!)

One nitpick on the zurb site going to v6 - the docs on v5 are kinda hidden, and you have to sorta pole around to find them - no real good reason for that, I don't think?

Also, a lot of the ink stuff was completely broken at the day of the v6 release (links, downloads - even the inliner). That's particularly interesting for me, but kinda gave me a few headaches! :)

I am facing the same issue, the rendering is very fine as long as it is been displaying on desktop browser(even after it is scaled down towards mobile screen-size). However it is doing miserably by eliminating very important first column in the mobile front browsers.

And on other note, could you please post the migration guide(a link) from foundation 5 to foundation 6 here. I've searched through, no luck.

I'm using the below components , not sure how well they cope with Foundation 6.

Fingers crossed...
