How to define row-width for different page width

I am working on a large site where the search result page require full width but rest of the site uses 1240px
How do I use Sass to have different row width for different pages?
So far my alternative way is to use 1920px row width for everything and use large-8, large-centered for the rest of pages.
I am not sure if this is the best solution tho.
Anyone have better ideas?
Thanks

This is just based off the minimal technical info you have provided. That being said, you do not HAVE to contain to the grid. You can write a section and not give it a class "row" and you are no longer restricted. For instance, on my site I wanted the background-image to span the width of the of browser regardless so, I did something along the lines of ...

<section id="whatever">
 <div class="row">
  <div class="....

And then gave the section the bg image. (ex: zmgdesigns.com )

Basically, I mean you do not have to be inside a "row" for your F5 project to work.

I would be better equipped to assist if you provided a link or your markup.

Happy Coding!
