Hi:

I’m fairly new to Rails and this is my first project using Foundation.

I’ve added the foundation-rails gem to my Gemfile and bundle installed.

I have the 5.1.1.0 version of the foundation-rails gem installed:

source 'https://rubygems.org'

gem 'rails', '3.2.13'
gem 'mysql2', "0.3.12b5"
gem 'rake', "10.0.4"
gem 'bundler'
gem 'devise'
gem "cancan"
gem "rolify"
gem "figaro"
gem "foundation-rails"
gem 'will_paginate', "3.0.4"
gem 'mini_magick', "3.2"
gem 'paperclip', "2.8.0"
gem 'jquery-rails', '1.0.19'
gem 'faker', '1.0.1'
gem "thinking-sphinx", "3.0.6"
gem "riddle", "1.5.9"
gem "high_voltage"
…

I have the 5.1.1.0 version of the foundation-rails gem installed:

$ gem list foundation

*** LOCAL GEMS ***

Foundation-rails (5.1.1.0)

I have the following files in my app/assets/stylesheets directory:

Application.css.scss
Foundation_and_overrides.scss

My application.css.scss file contains the following:

/*
* This is a manifest file that'll be compiled into application.css, which will include all the files
* listed below.
*
* Any CSS and SCSS file within this directory, lib/assets/stylesheets, vendor/assets/stylesheets,
* or vendor/assets/stylesheets of plugins, if any, can be referenced here using a relative path.
*
* You're free to add application-wide styles to this file and they'll appear at the top of the
* compiled file, but it's generally better to create a new file per style scope.
*
*= require_self
*= require foundation_and_overrides

*= require_tree .
*/

At the bottom of my foundation_and_overrides.scss file, I have the following lines:

@import 'foundation';

span.logo {
               line-height: 37px;
               padding-left: 15px;
}

Up until yesterday, all my pages loaded without any problems. But as I tried to add some styling for the homepage at the bottom of the foundation_and_overrides.scss file, I began seeing the following error message:

Sass::SyntaxError in High_voltage/pages#show
Showing C:/Sites/rails_projects/molex_mol/app/views/layouts/application.html.erb where line #9 raised:

I’d be grateful for any help or advice you could offer.

Thanks very much,
