Font Face is not found

I am trying to install compass using the comand line, but I keep getting the error below. See screenshot.
When I run grunt, I get the error that font face is not found.

What could be missing as I have installed sudo compass, sudo compass-rails, ?

//app.scss
@import "settings";
@import "foundation";
@import "compass/css3/font-face";

/** Proper way to include @fontface using SASS */
@include font-face(AvenirNextCondensed-Bold, fonts/AvenirNextCondensed-Bold);
@include font-face(Avenir-Book, fonts/Avenir-Book);

Looks like it might be a compass issue on the line:

@import "compass/css3/font-face";

It looks like it can't actually find the file "font-face." I found an example here: http://compass-style.org/examples/compass/css3/font-face/ It appears that you do not need the trailing "font-face" file when importing compass.

Try just importing this:

@import "compass/css3";

and post what happens.

Hi @TimHartwick, The Error is still the same .

Compass is installed as I am able to do compass watch but when I run grunt it says, the file to import not found.

 file to import not found or unreadable: compass/css3

Interesting. It might be a relative file path issue then. It looks like you can change this preference in your config.rb file by using this line:

relative_assets = true

The top answer on this stackoverflow post looks like it might shed some light on the issue:

@Tim,

I did the steps, but it looks like it is still a compass issue with grunt, because compass is recognizing the font face, but grunt doesn't. Will have to ask them why the file is not being found.

The issue was that I was not including the mixin.
