Orbit paused on load

I have used Orbit several times and have not had this problem. This is the first time I have used v5.1.1. It seems that when orbit is loaded, it is paused and will not auto-play. I have tried timer:false and pause_on_hover:false among other things, but none seem to work.

Has anyone else had this problem lately?

Same here. Must be a bug in 5.1.1.

I can't replicate this. http://cdpn.io/fCbjk

Can you try using the supplied jquery file that came with Foundation?

<script src="bower_components/jquery/dist/jquery.js"></script> for SASS
or
<script src="js/vendor/jquery.js"></script> for css

I tried using the included jquery.js and still have the same issue.

This fixed my problem. I just replaced the foundation.orbit.js with this version and everything is good now.

I've updated to 5.2.0 and the problem was solved.

I've updated to. But Orbit loads the second slide and then stopps.
It doesn't load my third slide.

I second Chris, Same problem as Chris, it just pauses at the 2nd slide. Using the 5.2 foundation

I just updated and my doesn't rotate at all.

Shawn Jones over 5 years ago

It started rotating, but like others have said, it gets stuck on slide 2.

Thanks guys, we have made some changes to the timer to lower cpu usage.

This is being looked into now.

This issue was just resolved here.

My question is, what is the proper way to get this into foundation.min.js?

Mladen River over 5 years ago

add this
,r.start()

Just look for
r.update_progress(0)

Whole line would look like

restart=function(){clearTimeout(u),e.addClass(t.timer_paused_class),a=-1,r.update_progress(0)/*addition*/,r.start()/*done*/},this.start=function(){if(!e.hasClass(t.timer_paused_class)

my code got cut ?
again

 ,r.update_progress(0)/*addition*/,r.start()/*done*/},this.start

I tried Mladen River's fix but nothing. Mine is a little weirder. I have 2 orbit sliders on the same page that should be starting automatically. one is, but the other is loading paused :-P
