Is it possible to use Foundation for Apps in a project already using Foundation for Sites 5?

Well, not everyone has a smartphone with a good RAM space. Apps are space consuming and make the device slow. Instead of installing apps try sites where you can actually watch movies like any other popular apps. There are lots of platforms that let users from around the world to watch movies with no fees. Some such sites for streaming movies are listed here. Do check them out.
If you just want the Sass components, that's no problem. You can use Bower or npm to install the Apps files into a project, and then just pull out the components you want.
Keep in mind that there are duplicate components between the two frameworks. For example, both frameworks have buttons, but the Sites and Apps ones look different. Also, both frameworks have a "panel", but they're very different components.
If you want to make your project into an actual single-page web app, that's a lot trickier. You might want to take the reverse approach: start with a Foundation for Apps project, that already has Angular wired up, and then incorporate Sites components into it, along with your own UI.
