Menu icon Foundation
hCards, vCards and Schema

Hi, I'm looking to add schema.org info for my business name, address and phone number (NAP) to my new foundation static html website.

I see here http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/components/typography.html zurb shows a microformat vcard example and here http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/v/2.2.1/ui.php a microformat hcard code example.

If you generate a schema.org NAP html code it is different to the above examples.

My questions is from a Foundation code point of view is it better to use the microformat code rather than the schema.org code?

I can see Google prefers schema.org as you can read here https://developers.google.com/structured-data/schema-org so I'd like to follow what structured data they prefer.

Go with Google's preferred version and style it up any way you want to. There's nothing that says you have to use Foundation's microformat structure.
