SASS and font size

Hi everyone,

I am begining to use sass. To modify the font size, in "_settings.scss", i set the $rem-base to 8px and it doubles the size. Except for < h6 > and < p >. Because the size is not defined by rem-calc() like the others, but directly "1rem"!

Is this normal? What is the reason for this?

I changed the code to :
$h6-font-size: rem-calc(16);
$paragraph-font-size: rem-calc(16);
And now it works as I expect. But am i doing right?

Shouldn't all the sizes defined by rem-calc()?

Thanks,

Marc

The rem base controls the size of everything including the grid.

Instead you should set the individual settings under type to the sizing you want. You can use rem-calc here like you demonstrated.
