No Stylesheet After Install? Try this...

Okay. Before you can execute the 'compass watch' command - you have to make sure that compass is watching the right directory. An ultra fast way to get the directory you want to point to is to drag the actual folder you have your project in - straight into the terminal window.

It will cheekily respond that folder you just dragged is indeed a directory. (Thank you condescending smart ass computer). Then you simply use the change directory command to make sure compass can watch and change your scss file to css. change directory = cd.

Command this: cd (whatever your full directory path is)

probably something like cd /Users/joeschmoe/MY_PROJECT

THEN execute Compass watch and BAM - a css folder is suddenly created with Compass watching the scss folder for changes. Pretty cool.

Hope that helped for all those born yesterday as far as SASS, Terminal, CLI and Ruby are concerned.
