There is a z-index issue on the background. We fixed it in master and will deploy the fix as part of 5.3.3 tomorrow.

Reveal modals aren't looking right to me with v5.3.2 vanilla CSS on my Mac Firefox, Chome, and Safari -- the shadow/darkening is covering the entire page including the modal content, even on the docs' "Kitchen Sink" page.

Now that I've noticed it, I'm seeing the same with version 5.3.1 as well. Anyone else seeing this too?

I don't see related issues on the Github project page. Is that the recommended way to report something like this?

Am I missing something? The big blue Download button here http://foundation.zurb.com/develop/download.html still links to 5.3.2

Arthur de la Rocha about 5 years ago

Sorry about that. Go ahead and check again. it should point to 5.3.3 now. Thanks for letting us know Jeff.

Hi, the Changelog page is still on 5.3.2 version

"Fix for top-bar form textarea being too tall in the CSS version"

Can you also fix the search button on the topbar? This has been broken since foundation 4.

See this page, under "Built-in components": http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/components/topbar.html#

Please check the search button. It is not "pixel perfect" so to speak, under chrome, firefox, safari. Search button is larger than the text box, and not properly aligned vertically.

I am having this problem since FD 4. I hope you fix it soon.

Hi I have a similar problem to Jeremy with the dropdown. The data-dropdown-content panel is positioned incorrectly and the arrow which should be at the top of the box is rotated and within the panel as per Jeremy's screenshot.

I am working with 5.3.2 but just downloaded a standard ('download everything') copy of 5.3.3 with no mods, extracted it, edited the included.html file and added the button dropdown code directly from here - http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/components/dropdown.html

Opened the page in Chrome and again the positioning is incorrect for both the content panel and the arrow. Using the Chrome inspector, I notice there are multiple .f-dropdown:before entries starting from line 3754 (in 5.3.2) and if I untick all later entries (3784 and 3808) leaving the version from line 3754 active, the arrow displays correctly.

There are multiple margin-top and margin-left entries from line 3744 (in 5.3.2). If I remove the later ones the panel displays correctly.

@Battista - thanks we tagged it here: https://github.com/zurb/foundation/releases but missed the changelog on the docs. On it.

@Bahadir - is there an open github issue to point to on this? If not can you make it?

Rafi Benkual about 5 years ago

@chris - there an open github issue for this https://github.com/zurb/foundation/issues/5552 - We'll resolve it there. Thanks!

Jérémy about 5 years ago

@chris - I come back on 5.3.1 temporary to no longer have this issue.

How about offcanvas-list with accordion ? Can you add to docs information how to use it ?

Rafi Benkual about 5 years ago

Giuseppe
Can you point us to the github pull request or forum post you are referring to?

Giuseppe about 5 years ago

I've a bug with 5.3.2, it concerns the arrow in dropdown. (I've never had this issue before 5.3.2 update).

Each arrow are in the right position and it's not normal.

It's not happening on the docs, can you link where you are seeing this?

Arthur de la Rocha about 5 years ago

Hey Jeremy, can you let us know what browser and device that is? We are not able to replicate it here at the office. Thank you.

Jérémy about 5 years ago

Chrome 36 on Mac, same issue on Firefox 31 and I don't have customized Foundation code.

Rafi Benkual about 5 years ago

Jeremy-
We still can't replicate this on those same browsers. What are the steps to reproduce?

Jérémy about 5 years ago

Great !
