Menu icon Foundation
Rails 4 and zurb-foundation gem

Hi all,

I've started a simple rails app for the purpose of familiarizing myself with Foundation. I'm happy with what I see on the Foundation website, but I've noticed some inconsistencies with the working version on my end.

I'm running Rails 4.0.0, Ruby 2.0.0, and using the 'zurb-foundation' gem. I've included an image of the resulting view after copy and pasting the nav bar source code from the Foundation website.

When I first started building my view, I followed the suggested row/column construction of:

div clas="row"
div class="four columns" Text here /div
/div

But this didn't work. After watching a Railscast on Foundation by Ryan Bates, I substituted "large-4 columns" where I had "four columns". That seemed to fix my row/column issue, but I really have no idea what to do to fix navbar issues. Is my problem a compatibility issue with Rails 4? Is the gem outdated and doesn't recognize the suggested syntax on the getting started page? Or am I just doing something egregiously wrong and I don't realize it?
