IE backwards compatibility support

Hi there,
I have been using Foundation for the past year and am getting pretty comfortable with it, but a recent project I am working on here at Plantronics has me needing to spend more energy than previously with respect to IE8 compatibility:(

In short, I am making use of Foundation 3.2 with relative success in IE8, although spacing continues to require some custom effort. The main issue I seem to be having has to do with things like the top-bar appearance, and the operation of custom form widgets. I’m a bit stuck with these and could benefit from some consulting.

I’m wondering what, if any, options exist for me to discuss some of the issues in detail with someone on the Zurb team? We are based just over the hill from Campbell in Santa Cruz, so I thought if there was a chance for me to swing over someday, perhaps I could drive over and spend an hour or so with someone on the Zurb team. Not sure if that’s something you offer or not. Please let me know.

cheers,
tz

Good question. We have some resources that address this. Check out:

Since your client is asking for IE8, maybe you can convince them against it. Here's some ammo:

Also if you want to visit the office, a perfect time would be Friday. We are having a Soapbox event and would be a perfect opportunity to meet the team, eat a catered meal, and listen to a great Q&A session. Here is the info:

Thanks for using Foundation. Hope to see you at Soapbox!
