How to add Foundation 5 to a jekyll site?

I see that the only updated gem is foundation-rails. The zurb-foundation gem is stuck at foundation 4. How can we use Foundation 5 scss inside a jekyll app? Can we use foundation-rails gem? Then how? Is it only for Rails?

The Zurb Foundation gem name has changed for Foundation 5. Check the updated docs for F5.

http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/applications.html

Install that gem, require that instead of 'zurb-foundation' and it will pull in Foundation 5 instead of 4. It is not only for Rails.

Alternatively, you can use NodeJS+Bower (my preferred method) to pull it into a project.

Once you have it, if you are familiar with integrating assets/html with a Jekyll site, not a whole lot has changed. You may want to walk through the getting started docs, because it is slightly different in F5 than F4, such as asset paths.

Additional reference... this is how I install and use Foundation 5.
