Alt attribute with Interchange

With ZURB claiming Foundation 5 to be 508 compliant, is there a way to use image attributes (i.e. ALT) with Interchange when using images only? Or are HTML partials for each image my only option if I want to include attributes?

Thanks!
James

I don't get it, can't you just use alt tags in your images regardless?

Karl — Thanks for the figurative knock to the head I needed. As is often the case with me, I was looking for a much more difficult solution to a fairly easy problem.

In my mind (at the time), I was trying to figure out how to incorporate the ALT text into the data-interchange attribute when all I had to realize was that I was still simply working within an IMG tag.

I guess after 16 years of web coding, I am still victim to the occasional brain fart.

Cheers!
