Adding Foundation5 to an existing Jekyll blog

Hi

I am trying to add the Foundation5 sass files to an existing Jekyll blog so I can then use Grunt.js to compile that and other files over.

I am following the installation instructions from the SASS section (http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/sass.html) but since I am not looking to create a new project I am not really sure how to include it into an existing project.

Any suggestions or am I missing something obvious - if so, I'd appreciate a pointer.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Cheers
Mahesh

Not knowing how else to proceed I decided to try and set up a new instance of Foundation 5 site and then copy over the sass files from there on to my existing Jekyll site (clearly not the preferred way to do it).

However on creating a fresh Foundation install I came across these instructions in the README.md file -

     # Foundation Compass Template

     The easiest way to get started with Foundation + Compass.

     ## Requirements

       * Ruby 1.9+
       * [Node.js](http://nodejs.org)
       * [compass](http://compass-style.org/): `gem install compass`
       * [bower](http://bower.io): `npm install bower -g`

     ## Quickstart

       * [Download this starter compass project and unzip it](https://github.com/zurb/foundation-compass-template/archive/master.zip)
       * Run `bower install` to install the latest version of Foundation

     Then when you're working on your project, just run the following command:

     ```bash
     compass watch
     ```

     ## Upgrading

     If you'd like to upgrade to a newer version of Foundation down the road just run:

     ```bash
     bower update
     ```

This is what I was looking for .. I was able to download the starter template from the above github location, to my existing Jekyll repo, ran

'bower install'

to install the necessary Foundation files, subsequently configured grunt tasks to compile the SASS files and Voilà! I had what I wanted.

I think this would be a useful piece of information to explicitly state in the SASS installation instructions/docs on how one could go about integrating Foundation5 sass files into an existing site - it seemed like it was done so for the earlier versions of Foundation (see here http://foundation.zurb.com/develop/tools.html - look at the Jekyll section ..)

Now looking forward to getting to know more about Foundation!
