I searched for 'Modernizr' in my project's foundation.min.js file. I see a couple references to Modernizr.touch, that's it. Also searched through foundation.min.css for each of the Modernizr body classes. In the CSS I found uses of .touch and .no-js.

I am now running a minimum-build version of Modernizr, no issues so far.
http://modernizr.com/download/#-touch-cssclasses-teststyles-prefixes

P.S. for future reference, I did this regex search in foundation.min.css and reviewed each result:

So if I were to use a custom Modernizr build with the absolute minimum feature detections enabled, what feature detections would I need to keep?

I too investigated this issue before finding this thread. My solution for now is to add style="height: 1.8rem" inline on the textbox.

As a new user comparing Bootstrap and Foundation, I would prefer that Foundation has a responsive slider built-in. I'm happy to see typography built-in, and was hoping for the same in the slider department.

Firstly, I know, I know, IE8 is nearly dead and the recommended way to use Foundation on it is to stick with version 3. However, I have a new site build coming up which unfortunately requires IE8 support, and I'd really like to use the new Foundation 5 wi... (continued)
