It works just fine to use the grid without any javascript!

It would be very helpful to add to http://foundation.zurb.com/apps/docs/#!/ 's menu a batch that shows if the feature is dependent on javascript. Just like in the foundation for sites docs http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/

Great work on the foundation for apps and especially its grid, i love it, it gives so much flexibility.

Hey,
have a look at the visibility classes: http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/components/visibility.html
You might have to wrap the off-canvas in a container that is only displayed for small screens.

Have a look at the http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/ they are using the same technique as you would like to.

This should work, the downside is just that you have to render the menu twice, once as off-canvas and once in the topbar.

Hope this helps!

I am having the same issue. Both when using foundation.css and using a libsass compiled foundation where everything should be included.

The switch is not getting styled correctly. When I click on it the label fades in and out, the switch button, paddle, is not visible at all.
Did we get to the bottom of this, what is the reason?
