Are you using Chrome Dev or Canary? (I haven't tested Beta).

I found this problem today as well, and sometimes it will render improperly as well. When I used Chrome Stable, everything works as expected.

This is due to security restrictions on the way that AJAX calls are handled. It's to prevent a page from trying to access your local files maliciously.

So, now I am on a Windows machine, and I get the same issue. If I add the version number to the Gemfile, it seems to get a little further.

source "https://rubygems.org"
gem "zurb-foundation", "5.0.2", :path => "c:/Users/Administrator/Documents/GitHub/foundation"
gem "compass"

This is what I get now:

LoadError on line ["161"] of C: cannot load such file -- zurb-foundation
Run with --trace to see the full backtrace

using --trace doesn't give any more details

foundation works, but does that pull from my source or from zurb's? Are you saying that I need to replace that in the linked commands for zurb-foundation?
