Only when I use the image web viewer, do I need process image online (http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/vb-net-imaging/process-online/) within web broswer, like firefox, chrome and safari. The image web viewer offers the function of resizing image in the form of button-clichking. So, I am not so clear about the detailed programming codes for the image resizing (http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/vb-net-imaging/resize-image/) within web broswer, you can check out the online detailed guides, including sample codes.

Yes, as far as i am concerned, I think you may pay more attention to the column padding because of its fixed width. So, when you apply your image resizing application (http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/vb-net-imaging/resize-image/), the size may not be changed, you have to finish this manually. Or if you don't want to change the image original size, but just narrow down the image, you can choose scale the image to required size (http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/vb-net-imaging/scale-image/).

Why not install and use an image processing tool (http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/vb-net-imaging/imaging-processing/) on your ipad to deal with the image size, by referring to the image resizing function. You can check out the best image viewing size, and then load the target images into the image editing application to resize the image to fufill your needs. Or you can resize the image (check the detailed online guides: http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/vb-net-imaging/resize-image/ ) in programmatical way on your tablet ipad device.

To be honest, I don't know much about how the image spinnerword, but if you want to shorten the image loading time when users are using and veiwing the site, you can get soultion in another aspect. That is changing and adjusting the way that users load images, you may set rules for image loading. Such ss, you can integrate the most efficient and fastest image loading add-ons. And I just know two fastest ways to load image:

one is load image from local file, including from memory stream

http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/vb-net-imaging/load-from-file/

and the other is loading image and drawing object from a .net graphics project

http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/vb-net-imaging/load-from-net-graphics/

you can check the posts and tutorials for how to program such image loading applications.

Yep, Interchange does not resize images for you, you can load the multiple images into an image resizing application to resize and adjust the multiple images' size at one time by invoking and using barch image resizing mode but not create multiple versions of the same image. The former solution will be much easiser and can save and reduce much time.

For generating and creating interchange responsive images, you can choose to implement an image creating plugin within you Wordpress post editor if you are allowed. I don't care much about the version or Wordpress, because I do most of my work within .net framwork for document image reading and processing. So, if you get any problem on image or document, I can help you and try my best.

Here is the tutorial for creating image, including interchange image: http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/vb-net-imaging/create-new-image/

in order to display the Ads or any image file correctly, you will need to set and fix sizes on large and medium screens for the columns like having a fixed width for a media query width range by implmenting a document or image resizing and or scaling plugins, and set the image resizing tool to automatically resize the loaded Ads to the best viewing effect.

You image can automatically shrink to small screen size? That is impossiable, you must invoke certian image sizing automatically adjusting plugin, so you need to find out and turn off it. Or you can scale your image by using a realiable image processing tool before you load it, and lock the size.

I am not so sure that the concept of adding image to document is similary with adding a little image or flag icon to a option dropdown. I suppose they may goes in the same way, implementing an image adding plugin, run the applciation to finally add the append the image.
