I made it work by doing this using the Command Line Interface: running
npm install babel-register
in the directory where you installed Foundation using the CLI. After that I updated everything involved in the npm run build process, one by one. It's not an easy process and it takes a while, but in the end it worked for me.
After everything was updated, it worked for me, but any javascript I had on the page, didn't work anymore.
If this happens to you too, then you need the find the following line in the gulpfile.babel.js file in your Foundation directory and comment it out:
.pipe($.if(PRODUCTION, $.uncss(UNCSS_OPTIONS)))
But I believe it's commented out in the most recent version of Foundation.

Hi,
I've tried this (without the optional extra folders in assets), but after restarting I get the following error:
Error: Panini error: no layout named "default-php" exists.
But I did create a file "default-php.php" in the layout folder.

Can someone help me out here?
Many thanks!
