I don't believe this forum covers MySQL.

I do have one recommendation; use bind_params: http://php.net/manual/en/mysqli-stmt.bind-param.php

Foundation provides rem-calc for Sass; for plain old CSS use http://pxtoem.com.

If you're not using the Sass/SCSS version it shows up in css/foundation.css:

meta.foundation-mq-medium {
  font-family: "/only screen and (min-width:40.063em)/";
  width: 40.063em; }

Look at the "Media Query Ranges" section in the settings: https://github.com/zurb/foundation/blob/master/scss/foundation/_settings.scss#L151. I believe you want $small-breakpoint.
