  • defer javascript loading foundation?

    By JK

    deferjavascript

    can we add a defer="defer" to the foundation script tag without issues? <script type="text/javascript" src="/js/1.js" defer="defer"></script> and also to the calling js file $(document).foundation(); any experience with this?

checked out the reveal-modal-issues branch
looked at the examples in docs, looks good so far, now i check my own examples and we will see ;-)

the left whitespace on fullscreen modal still exists i think it's because the left is calculated and then after open the scrollbar disappear, or the window width is returned with the scrollbar
better say the width of the element is calculated with the right scrollbar, the the reveal opens and the scrollbar disappear, so we have the (outerwidth - width)/2 what seams to be in my case 16px left

on android stock browser the without a overlay is pretty small, think there is no width given through css?

couldn't test it on iOS

i checked the reveal modal in the develop branch in docs

for me

-Page scrolls a amount down on Reveal Open
-Fullscreen Modal has left an Right Whitespace and is NOT Closable
-Position of all Modal is Bottom
-Click me for an overlay-lacking modal NOT Closeable

-Position of animated Modal seems to be correct position and also no scroll on page

checked on FF,IE,Edge,Chrome

Hello,

we got the same problem with tooltips on firefox and it is very dissapointing.

our page contains about 40-50 tooltips and firefox slows down for about 4-5 seconds.

any oppinions how we could get this work faster? i dont't think the planned use of tooltips is to have one tooltip on the site.

Jk

thanks for your reply
i now use this solution
Javascript
Foundation.libs.topbar.assemble($('nav.top-bar'));
if (Foundation.libs.topbar.settings.is_hover) {
$('.has-dropdown',$('nav.top-bar')).addClass('not-click');
} else {
$('.has-dropdown',$('nav.top-bar')).removeClass('not-click');
}

i have to pull the addClass and removeClass in my success ajax function because this is not in the assemble
if i "reinit" (init) the topbar it calcs the height and sticky offset wrong because it is allready open on insert the html

i downloaded it from github latest master

even in the docs it has a radius
