    javascript menu

    I'm using the below code to keep the menu open when navigating to a new page. It's working fine but is throwing this error "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'multiOpen' of undefined". I tried defining the multiOpen parameter but that didn't help. ... (continued)

    off-canvas

    In the Off-Canvas documentation in reference to the Reveal on Larger Screens classes, it states "The slide in/out of the plugin still works when these classes are active." Does that mean the slide transition should still work so that the off-canvas area s... (continued)

  • Reveal When Page Scrolls

    By Geoff Towle

    reveal

    Reveal works as expected when position is set to "absolute". But we don't want the default behavior where the modal scrolls with the page. So, as others have suggested, we changed the position to "fixed"; however, the modal doesn't appear at all when the ... (continued)

@Lee Hanbury,
Were you able to get it working? It's not clear to me if this a fix... "So we will have to animate the "right" for off-canvas and "margin-right" for the inner page content."
Curious. Thanks.

I figured out it was the z-index which I changed to 0 in _settings.scss.

To answer my own question, in app.js, I had modified this line of code...

$(document).foundation();

like this...

$(document).foundation('reveal', {animation: 'fade'});

and that broke things. So app.js now looks like this

$(document).foundation();
$(document).foundation('reveal', {animation: 'fade'});

and things appear to be working properly. I'm not sure if that's the best way to handle it and am welcome to suggestions.
