Hi Michal/Rafi
I'm not that familiar with webpack and could use a little clarification.
I found the webpacConfig directive in gulpfile.babel.js and I reviewed the links Rafi shared.  I'm thinking that I need to add the external directive within the webpackConfig, but I'm not sure where.  Can one of you help?

let webpackConfig = {
module: {
rules: [
{
test: /.js$/,
use: [
{
loader: 'babel-loader'
}
]
}
]
}
}

I'm thinking that if I add the bit below to the bit above that's suppose to exclude jquery. Is this correct?
externals: {
jquery: 'jQuery'
}
Appreciate any insightsjules

Hi Eric
I tried adding php-layout.php and then calling it from a html file within the pages folder. I got the same error you did, but when I changed the php file type to html it worked fine.  It doesn't appear that this setup to work with php files. You might try and search google for foundation ink php compatibility. I didn't find much, but the link below might be helpful.

 Hi Esa
Thank your for the information.  Yes, I do realize the syntax changed for F6. I tried applying the same idea to F6 syntax, but it didn't work for me.  Have you been able to get it to work?

Thanks for the response Rafi. When I went to look I realized it was an installation of Foundation 5. I just got mixed up.

The one feature detect that I was interested in was using a fallback png (https://zurb.com/expo/lessons/using-svg-without-hacks)

From the looks of http://caniuse.com/#search=svg I guess that's no longer necessary for basic svg images.

Cheers!

Hi Alec

I didn't have this exact experience, but I did have conflict issues with an earlier installation of foundation using Ruby and Compass. Once I removed the foundation ruby gem and did a reinstall of git and node everything went smooth for me.

I found this video very helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKywQK4NPdc

Hi Rafi

I need some similar clarification

I'm using the Foundation CLI and have installed a ZURB Template Starter Project.

When I look at src/assets/js/app.js I see that it contains $(document).foundation();

When I look at dist/assets/js/app.js I see that it includes much more.

Am I correct that I still need to map to foundtion.core.js and any other scripts I may need within src/layouts/defautl.html ?

What is being compiled into dist/assets/js/app.js ?

Thank you!

I had this same problem.
I ended up moving the bottom child folders to the parent and deleted them that way. A bit slow, but effective.

running Windows 7.

I understand. Consider yourself lucky ;) I work with Windows and it's a real challenge to find and deploy the right combination of tools. I'm definitely looking forward to a gui interface for Windows!

I found a great tutorial for working with Windows and the Foundation CLI at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKywQK4NPdc I still had trouble because I was previously working with foundation via compass. It took me a bit to figure out how to remove the old tools so the new ones would work correctly. I was dealing with a clash of foundation cli versions.

I think I'm finally there. I've successfully set up a ZURB Template starter project from the cmd line to play around with. http://foundation.zurb.com/sites/docs/starter-projects.html

Sorry I'm not able to be more helpful, but like you I'm determined ;)
Happy New Year!

    Is there a sample page for Foundation 6 that gives what a page should reference? The index.html included in the packages starts with the first div. I'm looking for the html, head and body that must be present. F5 had this in the packages.

    I am just getting started with Foundation 6. I had several failures building new projects with the foundation CLI and had a difficult time deleting them because the directory structure was so deep that the file paths were too long. One failure resulted in... (continued)
